Working Principle

The working principle of the Silicon Carbide (SiC) heating rod is primarily the conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy through the鐢电儹鏁堝簲 (electrothermal effect). When an electric current passes through the Silicon Carbide (SiC) rod, due to its resistance, the current releases a significant amount of heat, heating up the rod and ultimately achieving the purpose of heating the object.


         The Silicon Carbide (SiC) rod is hard and brittle, so it requires careful handling during transportation and installation to avoid severe shocks and impacts.

         During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the distance between the Silicon Carbide (SiC) rod and the heated object or furnace wall is greater than or equal to 3 times the diameter of the heating section, and the center-to-center distance between Silicon Carbide (SiC) rods should be no less than 4 times the diameter of their heating sections.
